Berlin, MD — Ocean Downs will be closed on Sunday (August 28) due to Hurricane Irene.
Ocean City, Md., will be issuing a phase 3 evacuation from the barrier island starting at 12 midnight on Thursday (August 25). Thursday night will be Ocean Downs’ last harness race card of the year.
The simulcast area will be open on Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday while Hurricane Irene barrels through the eastern shore.
