Lancaster, OH — Ocean Pearl set a new track record for pacers on Thursday (Oct. 13) at the Fairfield County (Lancaster, Ohio) Fair.

Ocean Pearl scored in a track record time of 1:58.3.
The 3-year-old On The Attack-Romola Grey filly won in 1:58.3, eclipsing the previous track record of 1:59, set by Goin Like Sam in 1998.
Ocean Pearl was driven by trainer Chip Noble for owner Sandra Burnett of Wilmington, Ohio. The victory was her 11th in 17 trips to the post this year and improved her season’s earnings to $54,186.
