Columbus, OH — The deadline for non-Hoof Beats’ subscribers to order the 2022 Breeders Book Stallion Directory at regular pricing is Wednesday (Dec. 1). Orders received after Dec. 1 are subject to a surcharge for increased mailing costs.

Hoof Beats’ subscribers will receive the Breeders Book for free this year only as their December issue of the magazine.  After that, subscribers will have the option to receive 11 issues annually or those 11 issues plus the Breeders Book in December at a higher rate.  After this year, Hoof Beats’ subscribers will be eligible for a $10 discount on the Breeders Book if they choose to make it part of their subscription.

The 2022 Breeders Book is scheduled to be mailed in mid-December.

For non-subscribers to Hoof Beats, the 2022 Breeders Book is available for purchase through a variety of options. Online, it can be purchased through myaccount. Once logged in, click “Online Services” in the black navigation bar, then “Click here to view products available from the USTA store,” and “Publications.”

In addition, the Breeders Book can be ordered by contacting Member Services at memberservices@ustrotting.com or by calling 877.800.8782.

The 2022 book is being published for the first time by the U.S. Trotting Association. Previously published by The Horseman & Fair World, this year’s edition will have the same prices as last year.

The Breeders Book contains pedigrees of North American stallions standing stud in 2022 as well as many 2021 statistical reports, including: Leading Money-Winning Broodmare Sires, Mares Bred reporting, Sire Stakes Money Winners, Leading Sires of 2- & 3-Year-Olds, Leading Money-Winning Sires, Leading Sires by Average Earnings and Leading Speed Sires.

There is also a 2021 Auction Report, which includes: Yearling Sales Statistics, Select Sale Sire, Comparison, Sire Averages for Lexington and Standardbred Horse (Harrisburg) Sales, Top-Priced Yearlings, Leading Sires by Average Price, Compilation of Sires (sorted by gait then alphabetically) and a Compilation of Yearlings sold (alphabetically by dam).
