The second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for sophomore filly pacer and trotters begins this weekend at MGM Northfield Park. Six divisions of pacers will take to the track Saturday night with five divisions of trotters on the Sunday card.

Last August, Moonshine Kisses tied the track record for aged pacing horses at Plainridge Park with a lifetime best 1:49.3 clocking that matched Givenupdreaming’s 2016 standard. Less than a year later, on Thursday (May 25), Moonshine Kisses shipped back into Massachusetts to make his first start at Plainridge of 2023 and torched the oval with a dominating 1:49 schooling of the seven other starters in the featured $25,000 Winners-Over Pace.
