Pertinent paperwork will be required at Chester

Chester, PA — Anyone interested in racing at Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack is reminded that all pertinent paperwork will be required prior to racing.

Trainers must have a Racing Application submitted for approval as well as a signed Medication Policy Acceptance Form. Drivers must have a signed Release Form on file.

Each horse that is listed on the racing application should have the following medication paperwork submitted: 2007 negative Coggins Test and Rabies Vaccination, along with a current Health Certificate dated within 30 days of the first day of entry at Harrah’s Chester. These items should be submitted prior to scratch time for the day they draw into race.

Prior to opening, the first qualifying days will be held on Tuesday, June 26; Friday, June 29 and Monday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. Entries for qualifiers should be submitted by 10:00 a.m. the day before. Thereafter, qualifying races will be held on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. effective July 10. Enter by 1:00 p.m. on Mondays.

Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack will be offering $160,000 per day in overnights initially. Maiden events will be starting out at $8,000.

The track is conveniently located in Chester, Pennsylvania off Exit 8 (Ridley Park) on I-95 just south of the Philadelphia International Airport. It is situated in the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and is a very short ride from nearby Maryland as well.
