Plainville, MA — Plainridge Park has applied to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission for approval of 108 days of harness racing for 2019, from early April to the end of November.

Based on the success of the 2018 racing season, Plainridge Park and the Harness Horseman’s Association of New England jointly crafted a 2019 schedule that will be one week longer than 2018.

The revised schedule was designed to assist the local horsemen and the racing industry and create excitement for a Monday, Thursday, Friday schedule for most of the season which will kick off on Monday (April 8) and conclude on Friday (Nov. 29).

Racing will also be conducted on multiple holidays and on Sundays in October.

Post times remain 4 p.m. April through August; 2 p.m. September and October; 1 p.m. in November

The proposed schedule is pending approval from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
