Marlborough, MA — Plainridge Racecourse will cut back its racing dates in August.
Beginning Monday (August 1), racing will be held on Mondays and Thursdays with post time at 4 p.m. (EDT), according to track officials. An 11-race program is on tap this Monday with $3,500 and $4,500 feature events.
Track officials also announed that the date for the annual Stan Bergstein Pace will be September 5 (Labor Day). It will be raced for a purse of $20,000.
