Pompano Beach, FL — Despite a 3-5 favorite and 1-5 favorite winning the final two legs of the 50-cent Pick-5 on Sunday (Feb. 25) at Pompano, the damage had already been done, and with no winning tickets there is a track record carryover of $10,557 heading into Monday night’s (Feb. 26)first race. Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA Strategic Wagering Program, have placed an instant guarantee of $40,000 on the total pool Monday night.
Pompano’s Sunday card featured a track record non-carryover pool in the Pick-4 of $40,082. The Pick-4 features the lowest takeout in North America at 12 percent.
Last but not least, the Jackpot Hi-Five has also soared to record heights, with more than $253,000 in the carryover heading into the Monday nightcap.
Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park five nights per week, with a first post of 7:20 p.m. every Saturday through Wednesday.
