Swedish trained and owned trotting star Propulsion returned to action Thursday night (April 26) at the Gävle track.
This was his first start since he finished third in the Prix de France at Vincennes in February.
Driven by regular driver Ôrjan Kihlström, Propulsion was entered in a race over the 1-5/16 mile distance and went to the post as the heavy favorite. In fact, he was bet down to odds of 1-02. You had to put $100 on the nose to win $2.
And Propulsion did win in a very convincing manner in 1:56f (mile rate) though he was parked outside the leader most of the trip.
Trainer Daniel Redén has targeted the Elitlopp for Propulsion but will race him once more before the big race next month.
