Pompano Beach, FL — Racing resumed with five qualifiers on Saturday (September 3) at Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park.
Non-betting matinee races, featuring the Sunshine State Stakes, take place on September 10 and 17 following qualifiers. Declarations for Sunshine Stakes leg #3 are due at the race office on Tuesday (September 6) at 9 a.m. along with starting fees.
Coon & Associates will commence its repairs to the main track at 9 a.m. that day as well. Repairs include the safety lane and track surface to have the track in top condition for races on September 10 and after.
The first pari-mutuel race night is Wednesday (September 21). Pompano will celebrate racing’s return on Saturday (September 24) with fireworks and Sunshine Stake finals.
The main track will be open for training on Tuesday (September 6) from 6-9 a.m. — weather and track condition permitting. The main track will otherwise be closed Tuesday-Friday.
