Red Mile prepares for upcoming meet

Lexington, KY — The Red Mile is preparing for its upcoming 2022 meet which kicks off on Sunday (July 31).

Pre-meet qualifiers will be held Wednesday (July 13) at 10 a.m. The box closes Tuesday (July 12) at 9 a.m. The next qualifier will be on Thursday (July 21) at 10 a.m. Again, the box closes the day before on Wednesday by 9 a.m. The final pre-meet qualifier will take place on Monday (July 25) at 10 a.m. As with the first two, the box will close Sunday by 9 a.m.

Condition sheets for the first week of racing will be out on/or before July 11.

Note: there will be a new draw schedule for the 2022 meet.

Draw Tuesday for Sunday (box closes at 9 a.m.)
Draw Wednesday for Monday (box closes at 9 a.m.)
Draw Thursday for Tuesday (box closes at 9 a.m.)

There will be a separate draw schedule for the Grand Circuit.

Driver change schedule is as follows:

Changes due Wednesday for Sunday by 10 a.m.
Changes due Thursday for Monday by 10 a.m.
Changes due Friday for Tuesday by 10 a.m.

Racing will take place each Sunday-Tuesday with a 1 p.m. post.
