Lexington, KY — The historic Red Mile will kick off its 2021 meeting this Sunday (Aug. 1).

The 14-race Opening Day card will feature four $40,000 Kentucky Championship Series races, two for 2-year-old trotting fillies and two for 2-year-old male trotters. Also on the card will be six $20,000 Kentucky Commonwealth Series races for 2-year-old trotters. Four overnights, led by a field of seven to contest the Fillies and Mares Open Pace, round out the card.

Post time for Sunday is 1 p.m. Racing will be conducted each Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 1 p.m. through Sept. 21. The 2021 Grand Circuit Meet will be held on Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 8-10.
