Shrewsbury, NJ — Two retired Standardbreds, Ozzy (Osborne’s Shy Cam) and Indy (Independent Act) made friends at the Monmouth County Library’s Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury as part of the Month of the Horse festivities in New Jersey.
More than 70 attended the event on Wednesday morning (June 24), with Indy, a 14-year-old trotter owned by Suzanne D’Ambrose, and Ozzy, a 24-year-old pacer owned by Terry Keynton, getting brushed, fed carrots and photographed during the one-hour meet and greet.
