Rockingham horses barred from Pompano

Pompano Beach, FL – Due to an outbreak of the disease called Strangles at Rockingham Park, no horses that have raced or have been stabled at Rockingham Park since June 1, 2008 will be allowed on the grounds of the Isle Pompano Park.

This quarantine will remain in effect until further notice. Anyone with questions about racing or shipping horses at the Isle Pompano Park must first contact the Stable Superintendent office at 954-972-2000 ext. 6470.
