Ft. Washington, MD — Rosecroft Raceway will be drawing Mondays for Fridays this fall and scratch time will be 9 a.m. Wednesday mornings. The box will open at 9 a.m. and close at 1 p.m.
Rosecroft will draw Wednesdays for Saturdays this fall and scratch time will be 9 a.m. Thursday mornings. The box will open at noon and close at 3 p.m.
Rosecroft will be qualifying this week on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. with the box closing at noon on Tuesday.
Next week, only, Rosecroft will qualify on Tuesday evening (Oct. 18) with a first post of 6:45 p.m. The box for this qualifier will close at 1 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 17). Drivers will be expected to be in full colors for this qualifier, which will be the final pre-race qualifier.
This notice supercedes any previous schedules and Rosecroft apologies for any inconvience this has or will cause the horsemen participating at the “Raceway by the Beltway.”
Live racing will kick off Friday (Oct. 21) with a Friday and Saturday night schedule through Dec. 3, with Thursdays added through Dec. 17. First race nightly is 6:45 p.m.
Horsemen are reminded that they need a copy of their current coggins in their possession when they enter the backside at Rosecroft unless they have already given the race office a copy. In addition, each participant needs to fill out and return a Release and Waiver before entering the backside and they’ll also need to fill out a 2011 Racing Application before entering in overnights.
