Washington, PA – The 7-5 favorite, Royaltywestho sat chilly in the pocket, then charged through the lightning lane to capture Wednesday’s (June 9) feature at The Meadows, a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Windsun Juno threw down a swift 1:22.4 three-quarters, leaving her vulnerable to the pocket-sitter. With Aaron Merriman’s urging, Royaltywestho took full advantage, scoring in a sharp 1:51.2. When 20-1 Something Reel rallied for second, half-length back, it gave trainer Brandon Presto an exacta sweep. Just Zip It finished third.

Spring Valley Ranch and Michelle Linnert campaign the winner, who triumphed for the 29th time in her career and lifted her lifetime bankroll to $209,488.
