Columbus, MN — The Saturday (July 18) qualifiers and race program at Running Aces have been canceled due to an expected high heat index. An additional race date will be added in September to replace the lost racing day.

In the event of a severe weather advisory, racing program(s) or qualifier(s) will be cancelled by order of the Minnesota Racing Commission Chief Veterinarian. Whenever possible, 24 hour advance notice will be given. Additional race date(s) will be added due to the cancellation(s).

Also, in light of recent outbreaks of COVID-19 in racetracks across the U.S. any new trainer, driver or Minnesota licensee will result in the requirement of off-site isolation for at least 14 days prior to being allowed the enter the grounds at Running Aces. A negative COVID-19 test result must also be submitted prior to entry.
