Saratoga Springs, NY — Saratoga Gaming and Raceway announced today that four new posts have been created to help bring a dedicated focus to the company’s future growth. Executive Vice President and General Manager Jamie Hartman announced the following promotions:

Rita Cox, formerly Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and External Affairs. Ms. Cox has more than 18 years of marketing and development experience that includes strategic planning, marketing, sales and business development. She joined the property in 2003 as Director of Marketing. Under her leadership, the marketing efforts at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway have led the way to the property’s unprecedented growth and continual surpassing of revenue projections. In her new role, Ms. Cox will oversee Marketing, Player Development, Nightclub Operations, Sales, External Affairs and GuestPath.

Don Braim, formerly Vice President of Racing Operations, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Racing Operations. Mr. Braim joined Saratoga Gaming and Raceway in 1996 following his retirement from the Saratoga Springs Police Department. His 12 years of experience at the property include racing operations, facilities and security. In his new role, Mr. Braim will oversee Racing Operations, Security, Facilities, Information Technology and Purchasing.

Alex Tucker, formerly Executive Director of Finance and Administration has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Gaming and Finance. Mr. Tucker has more than 17 years of gaming and racing industry experience that includes strategic and tactical leadership for start-up and expansion of multiple gaming properties. His unique combination of skills includes operations, general management, strategic planning and marketing/business development. In his new role, Mr. Tucker will oversee Gaming Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Cashiering Operations and Food and Beverage.

George W. (Skip) Carlson, formerly Vice President of Community Affairs and Special Projects has been promoted to Vice President of External Affairs and GuestPath. He has been employed at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway since 1977 and has served in a variety of positions at the property including Director of Public Relations, General Manager and Vice President of Racing. Mr. Carlson is also a member of the Board of Directors of the United States Trotting Association and Vice President of the Harness Horse Breeders of New York State. In his new position, Mr. Carlson will interact with community programs and industry shareholders along with coordinating the property’s customer service program, GuestPath.
