from Shenandoah Downs
Woodstock, VA — The Shenandoah Downs entry box closes on Wednesday (Sept. 7) at noon for the inaugural cards and it can’t be stressed enough that online entries are strongly suggested.
The opening draw is for both the Saturday (Sept. 10) and Sunday (Sept. 11) cards. The condition sheet is available here.
Entries will only be accepted at 302.509.1861 for the first draw.
Qualifiers are also being drawn Wednesday and the box for qualifiers closes at 11 a.m.
The barn area at Shenandoah Downs also opens on Wednesday morning, so it will be a busy day at the Woodstock, Va., oval.
A reminder that horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by a health certificate dated within 30 days and verification of a negative Coggins test dated within 12 months. State law requires that the Coggins test report be hardcopy in original or photocopy form. The Virginia Equine Alliance strongly encourages horses that stable on the grounds to have a herpes vaccination.
