New York, NY — SIRIUS Satellite Radio will provide comprehensive live radio coverage of the 62nd edition of The Little Brown Jug, one of harness racing’s premier events, at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio.

The special edition of SIRIUS’ exclusive horse racing program, Down The Stretch, hosted by Bill Finley and owner, trainer and driver Peter Kleinhans, will air live Thursday, September 20, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. (EDT) exclusively on SIRIUS channel 119. SIRIUS’ coverage will include live race calls, reports from around the fairgrounds and interviews with drivers, trainers and owners. Acclaimed track announcer Dave Johnson and Jim Ewart, one of the sport’s most respected racing secretaries and officials, will also contribute to the broadcast.

Down The Stretch airs every Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (EDT) exclusively on SIRIUS channel 119, featuring Dave Johnson and Bill Finley covering The Sport of Kings with news, opinion, insight, handicapping analysis and interviews with the leading figures of horse racing. Included in Down The Stretch’s racing coverage is a weekly, 30-minute segment devoted to harness racing, with Johnson and Finley providing the latest news and handicapping analysis on the sport’s pacers and trotters.

“The Little Brown Jug is pure Americana and we are delighted to add “The Jug” to our harness coverage, which includes other great races such as The Meadowlands Pace and Hambletonian Day,” said Johnson. “We will bring the rich tradition and the great pacing action from the picturesque Delaware County Fairgrounds to our listeners on SIRIUS.”
