Soho Burning Love A wins again at Dover

Dover, DE – Soho Burning Love A won back to back races in the Mares Open Pace at Dover
Downs on Wednesday (Jan. 12) night. Shes Pukka N and driver Tony Morgan left alertly from the gate and held the
lead briefly at the quarter.

Driver Tim Tetrick and Soho Burning Love A also left alertly, settled, then vacated the pocket and took command of the race track past the quarter.

Soho Burning Love A , the 4/5 betting favorite, set fractions of :26.4 to the quarter, the half was reached in :55.2 ( 28.3) and the three-quarters in 1:22.4 (:27.2). So Miki Hanover was the first to pull past the 5/8 marker and Scuola Hanover moved second- over. Both mares stalled on the rim and could not gain on the leader at the three-quarter pole. Shes Pukka N stalked in the pocket and at the top of the lane charged home, but could not reach Soho Burning Love A.

Soho Burning Love A (Auckland Reactor N-Soho Bordeaux- Western Terror) won by a neck in 1:50.1 and paid $3.60 to win. She is owned by Jo Ann Looney-King, DE, B.K. Carsey, IN. and Jeff Fought Racing, OH. Jim King Jr. trained and Tim Tetrick drove.

Shes Pukka N, the pocket dweller, ran out of race track and finished second for trainer Brian Malone. Tony Morgan was the driver.

Rose Run Victory finished third for trainer Ron Burke and Corey Callahan. Art Stafford Jr. won the first four races on the betting card and ended with a grand slam. Tim Tetrick drove three winners.

Tomorrow night’s feature is the $27,500 Blue Hen/Open Pace. It features Southwind Ozzie, Slick Tony and Island Of The Sea.
