SPHO of Ohio to conduct Stallion Service Auction

The Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of Ohio is conducting a Stallion Service Auction to benefit the organization. Below is a list of the stallions available and their stud fee.

Bids will be accepted by telephone at (740) 964-2283 until 10:00 p.m. on February 1 and 2 and the final bidding will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3 during the SPHO of Ohio Tack and Equipment auction, which is to be located in the sales arena on the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio. The tack auction will begin at 1:00 p.m. and go throughout the day.

You may bid on as many stallions as you like. The minimum raise is $50.00. The SPHO of Ohio will attempt to notify the underbidders when their bid has been topped. All bids are confidential. The availability of semen transport may apply to some stallions.

All contracts are subject to approval of the SPHO of Ohio and the farm and are not transferable to another individual without prior approval. The winning bidder will be required to make a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 or 10% of the winning bid, which ever is greater. The balance of the bid (or 90%) is due upon the birth of a live foal. If the mare fails to get in foal or if there is no live foal, there is no return privilege.
