SRF stallion breeding auction set to start

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Freehold, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation is auctioning a 2007 Glidemaster breeding, as well as Dragon Again and SJ’s Caviar, from 12:00 noon on February 5 through 12:00 noon on February 9.

Bidding forms can be downloaded from the SRF website at www.adoptahorse.org, click on breedings, or by calling SRF. Bids can be submitted via fax or by email to gen@srfmail.com. Bids can be tracked on the SRF website.

These breedings are being sold with no guarantee of live foal and payment in full is due by February 14. SRF reserves the right to cancel the auction if the reserve on each stallion is not met.

Glidemaster – Regular Stud Fee – $15,000

Dragon Again – Regular Stud Fee – $7,500

SJ’s Caviar – Regular Stud Fee – $7,500

SRF Races

All 3-year-old pacing offspring of stallions listed above are eligible to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation Open Paces at Freehold Raceway on May 12, 2007 and The Meadowlands on June 21, 2007 for an estimated $90,000 in purses. One nomination fee of $500 includes eligibility to both races. Declaration fee is $250 for each race. Race nominations close March 15, 2007. Payments go to race secretaries at the host track or through your staking service.
