SRF’s charity golf tournament set for May 12

by Gen Sullivan, for the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) will host their annual charity golf tournament on May 12 at beautiful Knob Hill Country Club in Manalapan, New Jersey.

All proceeds benefit the SRF, the oldest, most productive, award-winning program that finds homes for non-competitive Standardbreds and ensures their lifelong care.

SRF also reaches out to children at risk through its after school Youth in Focus Program and incarcerated teenagers within the Juvenile Justice System who work with SRF horses to learn life and vocational skills.

The cost per player is $195 before May 8 and $225 per player after May 8 and includes greens fees, cart, lunch, cocktail hour and dinner.

A very popular event, the SRF golf outing is strongly supported by the racing industry.

SRF is seeking sponsors on many levels and gift items such as tickets or box seats to sporting events, travel tickets or packages, and valuable collectibles and novelty items for a charity auction and raffle.

To sponsor, play or make a donation, or for more information, call Gen Sullivan at (609) 324-1500 or e-mail her at gen@srfmail.com to receive a brochure.
