Standardbreds to appear at Equine Affaire (OH)

Columbus, OH — After two years, Equine Affaire (Ohio) is back in full swing April 7-10 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.

With a partnership between Ohio Standardbreds & Friends, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption, Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association and the United States Trotting Association, there will be demonstrations throughout the weekend and a large booth space in the Breed Pavilion.

Demonstrations will be held at the following times:

Friday at 5 p.m. in Rod’s Arena
Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the Coliseum
Saturday at 2:45 p.m. in Rod’s Arena
Saturday at 4:45 p.m. in the Wahl Demo Ring
Sunday at 12:45 p.m. in the Coliseum
Sunday at 1:45 p.m. in the Wahl Demo Ring

The OHHA/USTA booth will include a race bike with virtual reality headset, a petting stall with various Standardbreds rotating in throughout the weekend for people to get up close and personal with, a trivia wheel, horse bone box and more.
