Pompano Beach, FL — Due to racetrack surface conditions, the non-wagering Florida Sunshine Stakes scheduled for 12:00 noon this Saturday, September 8, at the isle casino & racing at Pompano Park will be postponed.

Horsemen are urged to keep in contact with the Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association (FSBOA) for further notice as to if and when the third leg of the Florida Sunshine Stakes will be held.

The Florida Sunshine Stakes is for Florida-sired 2- and 3-year-old trotters and pacers and is part of a five leg series that culminates with finals in each division the week of September 24.

There will also be no qualifying races held on Friday, September 7.
