Marlborough, MA — Driver-trainer Kevin Switzer welcomed harness racing back to Scarborough Downs in Maine with four wins on the season’s opening race card on Saturday, April 14.

Switzer, who is also among the leading drivers at Plainridge Racecourse, drove Linda’s Balance to victory lane in the second race, and posted wins in races 6-8 with Worlds Apart, H F Wade and Magnetized.

Jason Bartlett, Scarborough’s leading driver the past few years, drove two winners on the day’s nine-race program. Bartlett, who won all sorts of driving championships at New England harness tracks last season, scored with Kamwood Tony A in the first and Jate’s Skyhawk in the fifth race.
