George Teague Jr. will be the keynote speaker at the USTA Standardbred Driving School.

“George has owned and trained many great horses over the years, none more notable than the pacing sensation Wiggle It Jiggleit, who captured one of the most exciting Little Brown Jug victories in history right here at Delaware, Ohio, last year,” said school administrator Chip Hastings. “I’m sure the students will enjoy hearing the many stories George will share of his illustrious career in racing.”

Also joining George as a speaker will be Aaron Merriman, who captured the 2015 North American driving title with a season’s best 874 wins and more than $7.4 million in purses.

“We are pleased to again have Aaron back as an instructional speaker. His humor, wit and knowledge of driving strategy will both educate and entertain the students,” said Hastings.

Also expected to speak on training and conditioning will be Brian Brown, trainer of Breeders Crown champion and Jugette winner Color’s A Virgin and 2015 Little Brown Jug runner-up Lost For Words.

If you are interested in owning, training or driving Standardbreds, or you are simply a fan of harness racing, we urge you to join us for this once in a lifetime experience.
