TheStable.ca Holiday Auction now open

Guelph, ON — TheStable.ca has partnered with Preferred Equine Online to present the first-ever TheStable.ca Holiday Auction. Bidding opens at 3 p.m. (EST) on Dec. 30 and begins closing on Jan. 2 at noon (EST). The auction can be accessed at http://preferredequineonline.com/.

The large online auction is the first of its kind in which some of the 900-plus clients of the fractional ownership operation are offering 275 lots of shares in 100 horses. The lots include single one percent shares, multiple shares, and even bundles containing shares of multiple horses ranging from yearlings to racehorses.

This is a unique opportunity for buyers who are not currently clients of TheStable.ca to access fractional ownership in horses that have been long sold-out.

“We’re extremely grateful to David Reid and his staff at Preferred Equine for working with us to make this possible,” said Anthony MacDonald, President of TheStable.ca. “This is a really exciting and innovative undertaking. I hope our current clients and prospective clients find it valuable.”

Some of the top prospects include this year’s Gold Cup & Saucer champ Sintra; hot Pennsylvania Sire Stakes rookie trotter Crantini; Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots freshman champ Nothingbutadreamer; sophomore OSS Grassroots champ Resolute Bay; 2022 Beckwith Memorial victor Patrikthepiranha A; Next Generation winner Swinging Senorita; and older trotter Kings County who set two track records (at Scioto Downs and Dayton Raceway) in 2022.

“We are excited to offer fractional shares for the first time on our online platform and giving our bidders a new opportunity to expand their roster of racehorses,” said David Reid, President of Preferred Equine Marketing.

All are welcome to register to bid through the PEO site. Successful bidders who are not currently clients of TheStable.ca will become part of the award-winning stable and must consent to the contract terms and conditions. See TheStable.ca website for information about monthly fees.

Just like an in-person sale, horses will be sold in hip number order. Bidding will close in timed increments for each horse. Live pedigrees and past performances, photos, videos and more will be available for each entry.
