Wilkes-Barre, PA — The pacing mare Unbeamlieveable is now 3-for-3 for owner Gilbert Garcia-Owen and trainer/father Gilbert Garcia-Herrera after a recent claim, winning Monday night’s (June 18) $14,000 mares claiming handicap pace feature at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono in 1:52.1, just a fifth off her life mark despite only “good” going.
The daughter of Moon Beam was sent right to the front by the meet’s leading driver, George Napolitano Jr., and never looked back, rattling off numbers of :27, :56.2, and 1:24 en route to a two length tally over JK’s Nancy Lee, those two producing an exacta for the second straight week in this class.
This was the 40th win of the former fair star’s career, and boasted her lifetime earnings to $202,952.
