Columbus, OH — The Tim Fouts Memorial Driving Championship will be raced at Delaware, Ohio, on Sunday (September 18). Drivers representing USTA member Amateur Driving Clubs from throughout the United States will be competing in this event.
This is one division with a field of 10 horses to start. One also eligible will be drawn. The also eligible horse will be released at 10 a.m. on the day of the race.
This is a conditioned pace for horses that have started for a claiming price of $4,000 in at least one race in their last six starts. Also eligible are horses who are non-winners of $1,500 in the last four starts. Horses may not be claimed from this event. The total purse is $5,000 (a race purse of $4,400 to be divided 45%-25%-15%-10%-5%, with $100 for places 6-10 and the AE1, given to the trainer of record). There is no entry fee for this event.
