Tuesday final matinee program at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY – Now that the clocks have all (presumably) been adjusted, there’s just one more timing note that requires your undivided attention.

This coming week includes Yonkers Raceway’s final Tuesday matinee (1 PM ET) program.

Beginning the week of Monday, March 19, Yonkers goes “all nights, all the time”, with first post every Monday through Saturday at 7:40 PM ET. The ’07 stakes schedule continues Friday night, with the third and final preliminary round of the Petticoat Pacing Series.

‘Twas Bombs Away Saturday at Yonkers, with eight of the 13 winners paying double digits and the average win price a studly $23.80. Included was a $758 early daily double and a $368.50 Jim Meittinis-sweep late double.

The Saturday card also saw Allamerican Inca (Jim Pantaleano) win the $35,000 Open Handicap Pace and Special Report (Larry Stalbaum) rip through a 1:51.3 mile…the fastest time since the Raceway re-opened for business last November.
