USTA Driving School graduates open Bed and Breakfast

Freehold, NJ — Beth and Steve Podhajecki, graduates of the USTA Driving School, have gone pro, but not on the racetrack.

USTA members who stay for at least two nights in 2017 can opt for a complimentary carriage or sleigh ride.

The couple have relocated their carriage for hire business and opened Bed and Breakfast lodging on Steve’s ancestral family farm in Greenfield, N.Y., www.loonmeadowfarm.com, just ten miles from Saratoga Springs.

With teams of light and heavy draft horses, and three-quarter Standardbred pleasure driving mare, Molly, they offer all manner of carriage related services for weddings, funerals, hayrides, parties, or a casual drive in the country or in Saratoga Spa State Park.

Rooms in the modern home feature equine themes, private baths, Direct TV and breakfasts with local, farm fresh eggs; room rates start at $129 a night. USTA members who stay for at least two nights in 2017 can opt for a complimentary carriage or sleigh ride.
