The deadline to declare your Standardbred for the All-Breeds program is Aug. 1. You must provide the USDF with a copy of your horse’s papers, along with a completed USDF All-Breeds Awards Declaration Form and $35 declaration fee. The horse must also have a USDF Lifetime Horse Registration when scores are earned.

For those owners who do not have their horse registered in their name and therefore do not have a copy of the registration certificate to send to USDF, contact Jessica Schroeder at jessica.schroeder@ustrotting.com or 614.224.2291, ext. 3212 to discuss your situation.

The USTA will recognize first through third place in the following categories, starting at Training Level:

Open
Junior/Young Rider
Adult Amateur
Musical Freestyle

The USTA previously recognized All-Breeds Awards winners from 2007-2011. At the request of Standardbred owners and riders who are or plan to show in 2022, the USTA renewed the agreement with USDF. Previous awards were presented to Standardbreds who participated in Training, First and Second Level, both in Open and Musical Freestyle, as well as Adult Amateur.

Since 1996, the Standardbred Equine Program has worked with owners of off-the-track Standardbreds to educate the general public about the many disciplines Standardbreds excel at once they are retired from racing. For more information about the SEP at the USTA, visit LifeAfterRacing.ustrotting.com.
