Stockholm, Sweden — The Swedish V75 wager had no payout for five correct due to the fact that the payment did not meet the minimum threshold required by the Swedish government on the V75 races held on Saturday, July 21, thereby creating a carry-over jackpot pool of US$15.1 million for this Saturday’s (July 28) V75 races.

V75 races are run every Saturday in Sweden. Advance wagering begins on Wednesday and is open until the close of business on Friday. Bettors win the V75 by selecting the winners of seven consecutive races. Consolation payouts are made to bettors who select six or five winners.

The most popular bet on horseracing in the world in terms of pool size, V75 accounts for 40 percent of total pari-mutuel wagering in Sweden and has grown at a rate of 10 percent annually over the past five years.

The V75 is currently available in the United States at The Meadowlands, Monmouth Park and Freehold Raceway in New Jersey.
