Vaccination policy updated for Woodbine Mohawk Park

Milton, ON–Woodbine Entertainment Friday (Dec. 3) informed Standardbred racing participants of an adjustment to its Enhanced Screening Program at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Effective Dec. 13, all participants who have not provided Woodbine with proof of full vaccination will be required to complete a daily rapid test at home and upload their results prior to accessing the paddock or racing areas. Rapid testing will no longer be performed at the racetrack.

Participants requiring rapid tests as part of the Enhanced Screening Program will need to order rapid testing kits (package of 25) through Woodbine, who will provide the kits at no cost (subject to change).

To order the rapid testing kits, click here.

Once an order for a rapid testing kit has been placed, participants will receive an email with account information to log in and report their results.

Rapid testing kits can be picked up on race nights in the new Woodbine Mohawk Park paddock security office, located by the entrance where horses are unloaded and checked in. Participants must present their Woodbine ID badge when picking up their kits.

To help with the transition, onsite clinics with paramedics will continue to remain open during the week of Dec. 13, to provide onsite support and instruction for the “at home” Enhanced Screening Program.

A participant may opt out of the Enhanced Screening Program at any time by providing security with proof of full vaccination.
