Vernon, NY — Vernon Downs has changed its Tuesday post time from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and has received approval from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board in a letter dated July 9.

The change will go into effect immediately with the race program on Tuesday, July 10, which features 3-year-old colt and gelding trotters in divisions of the New York Sires Stakes.

“We are very pleased that the New York State Racing and Wagering Board has approved the post time change. We believe that it will drive more on-track attendance and help our export signal as well,” said Jason Settlemoir, VP of Racing and Simulcast.
