Vivid Wise As equals world record at Vincennes

Vincennes, FR- 8-year-old Italian top trotter Vivid Wise As – sired by Yankee Glide – won the prestigious Prix Rene Balliere at Vincennes – raced over 1-5/17 mile in 1.51.1 – equaling the world record made by Face Time Bourbon in the same race last year.

Vivid Wise As – trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro and with French top driver Matthieu Abrivard in the bike, just managed to get his head in front of long leading Etonnant with Anthony Barrier. The purse for the winner was 90.000 Euros – or $95,000 dollars.

In Sweden the Kalmar Sund-Prize raced over approx. a mile at Kalmar was won by Click Bat – a 6-year-old horse, sired by Cantab Hall and bred by Russel Williams.

Click Bait driven by Per Lennartsson came from behind to win in 1.51.1f followed by stablemate Milligans School with Björn Goop in the bike – both trotters are owned and trained by Stefan “Tarzan” Melander.

In Denmark, the first European race for 2-year-old trotters was raced at Jydsk Vaddelobsbane in Aarhus.

The filly Illusion Epice, trained by Gitte Madsen and with Birger Jorgensen in the bike, was an easy winner timed in 2.05.3f
Illusion Epice is sire by Orlando Vici – a French stallion and out of a mare, F The Big One, she by Muscle Hill.
