Elkton, MD — Post Time with Mike and Mike, presented by BetAmerica, is excited to announce the line-up for Thursday morning (May 3) at 10:30 a.m. They will be joined by Gordon Waterstone, a Hall of Fame writer for harnessracing.com; Karen Fagliarone, Director of Racing at Freehold Raceway; Dave Brower, an analyst from Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment; Jim Miller, from Hawthorne Racecourse; and Jerry Connors, from the PHHA.
Waterstone, a media Hall of Famer, joins the program live from Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. Waterstone will discuss the experiences he currently is having and talk about how he got involved with the 144th Run for the Roses.
Fagliarone, Director of Racing at Freehold Raceway, joins the program to highlight the Dexter Cup which kicks off the road to the Hambletonian. She will talk to the duo about some of the big horses that are entered and how she thinks the race will set up.
Brower, an analyst from The Meadowlands, talks Hannelore Hanover’s 2018 debut in the Arthur J. Cutler Memorial on Saturday. Hannelore Hanover drew post 12 in a loaded field of competitive trotters going for a purse of $182,500.
Miller talks opening day which is coming up at Hawthorne Racecourse. The Thoroughbred meet just ended and the exciting Standardbred meet is up next for a competitive summer. Miller will let us know the happenings at the Illinois racetrack.
Connors, from the PHHA, previews the Great Northeast Invitational Series that will take place at Harrah’s Philadelphia and The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.
