Ft. Washington, MD — Westsluckycam rallied from last to first with a :27.4 final quarter to score a second straight victory in the $10,000 Open Handicap for Mares at Rosecroft Raceway on Tuesday (April 18). The winning time was 1:52.4.
It was one of three wins on the card for leading dash driver Russell Foster.
Michael Hall trains the 4-year-old daughter of Camluck for CTC Stable.
Pacesetter KG Rocks (Ricky Still) was second, while BJ’s Sweetheart (Frank Milby) was third.
Foster also posed a for a picture with Lanco Express in the $8,500 Winners Over for Mares. Foster followed a parked out CC”s Munchkin (John Gazzerro) to victory in 1:54.2. The 8-year-old Tell All mare is owned by Peter Venturini and trainer Brian Malone.
Brian Burton had a driving triple and training double, netting wins with Real Passing Lady and Romantic Escape from his barn.
