Columbus, OH — This Saturday evening (April 1), Eldorado Scioto Downs will be holding their free qualifying handicapping contest to earn a spot into the $50,000 BetAmerica World Harness Handicapping Championship to be held at The Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, N.J., on April 29.
The entry into the championship final is valued at $800 and Eldorado Scioto Downs will be kicking in an additional $500 for travel expenses to The Meadowlands.
The contest will be held in The Penthouse at Scioto Downs with registration to begin at 4 p.m. Entries will be taken up until post time of the first contest race, which should start at approximately 7:10 p.m.
The contest will involve choosing one horse in each of 10 designated contest races. A bankroll will be accumulated by a mythical $2 win and place on each of those horses. The player with the largest bankroll at the end of the 10 contest races will get the trip.
Fans are reminded that you must be present at the conclusion of the contest to win and valid identification will be needed to register for the contest.
