Harrington, DE — The draw for the Monday (Sept. 19) 10th annual $150,000 Bobby Quillen Memorial at Harrington Raceway took place Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 13) and the race will feature a rich field of eight pacers that includes reigning 2015 Horse of the Year Wiggle It Jiggleit.
After a busy schedule of traveling the past several months that covered thousands of miles, the 4-year-old world champion pacer will return to his hometown to race where he set the world record for 3-year-old geldings on a half-mile racetrack last year with a 1:49 clocking.
Owned by George Teague Jr. and Teague Racing Partnership for Harrington-based trainer Clyde Francis, Wiggle It Jiggleit drew the coveted rail in the eight horse field that sports a combined lifetime bankroll in excess of $8 million.
The field includes top pacers Lightning Stable’s McArdles Lightning, 2015 Quillen champ Bamond Racing’s Mach It So, John Craig’s Luck Be Withyou, Rock and Roll Stable’s American Primetime, Burke Racing and Weaver Bruscemi’s Rockin Ron, Lauretta Galm’s Keystone Velocity and Robert Cooper Stables and J&T Silva’s Mel Mara, who set a track record for older pacing stallions (1:50.1) at Harrington on Monday (Sept. 12).
The race will be the final leg of the late Pick-4 (races seven-10).
The Quillen Memorial honors the popular late long-time Delaware legislator who devoted his life to public service and was a regular at the racetrack.
A more comprehensive race preview with morning line odds will follow prior to race day.

Owner George Teague Jr. has been as far north as Quebec and as far west as Indiana with 2015 Horse of the Year Wiggle It Jiggleit, but as rewarding as those trips have been, there’s no place like home. Team Teague and harness racing superstar Wiggle It Jiggleit have traveled to 12 different racetracks this year, six different states and two Canadian provinces, but will now have a race close to their Harrington, Del. home on Monday (Sept. 19) for the 10th Annual $150,000 Bobby Quillen Memorial.
