A well-rated Wind Of The North held his ground and ran his winning streak to three in Tuesday’s featured trot at The Meadows.

Wind Of The North had to step lively to reach the lead from post seven in :27.3, but when Aaron Merriman gave the 8-year-old Cantab Hall-Talk To The Wind gelding a :30.2 second-quarter breather, he was refreshed and ready for Call For Justice’s challenge. Wind Of The North downed him by a length in 1:54.3, with the pocket-sitting Classicality third in the Lightning Lane.

Bill Bercury trains and owns Wind Of The North, who now boasts $991,598 in career earnings.

Dave Palone piloted four winners on the 13-race card.
