Washington, PA — Windsong Patriot exploded to the top from post 5 and never had an anxious moment as he captured Wednesday’s (Oct. 30) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,500 Conditioned Trot.
A potential stretch duel between Windsong Patriot and the pocket-sitting Wallet never developed, as Wallet jumped it off at the top of the lane, leaving Windsong Patriot and Hunter Myers unchallenged. The 8-year-old E L Titan-Windsong Idol gelding triumphed in 1:54, 1-1/4 lengths better than Rising MVP, with Big Boy Ernest third.
Melanie O’Donnell trains Windsong Patriot, who soared over $300,000 in career earnings, and owns with Corey Hendricks.
