Yonkers, NY — Spanning three legs starting on April 3 and culminating in the final on April 24, the popular Bonus Trotting Series concluded at Yonkers Raceway with Bluebird Jesse emerging victorious in that $85,000 final.

For owners Brian Casey, John McGill and Adam Friedland, trainer Scott Di Domenico and driver George Brennan the win was even sweeter, not only because the talented trotter traversed the mile in a 1:54.4 time, edging out the overwhelming favorite Seasoned Saint, but also by picking up an extra $10,000 paid by the SOA of NY as the bonus because all the horse’s connections were SOA members at the first draw of the series.
The happy trainer and driver, no less talented than their charge, accepted the $10,000 check from SOA Field Rep. John Brennan.
The winning share of the purse elevated Bluebird Jesse’s lifetime earnings to a hefty $168,472 and added 10,000 extra smiles to the SOA of NY members.
