Toronto, ON — Woodbine Racetrack will offer a quartet of winter series in the coming months for 3- and 4-year-old pacers.
The Niagara and Valedictory Series will take place during the month of December, while the Blizzard and Snowshoe Series will start in January. Each series consists of two preliminary legs (guaranteed purse of C$17,000) and a final (C$30,000 added). The nomination fee for each series is C$200 and nominations close Dec. 1, 2017.
The conditions and dates for the four series are listed below.
Niagara (To be raced Dec. 8, 15 and 26):
Three-year-old pacing fillies in 2017, non-winners of C$60,000 lifetime as of midnight Oct. 31, 2017. No allowances.
Valedictory (To be raced Dec. 9, 16 and 26):
Three-year-old pacing colts and geldings in 2017, non-winners of C$60,000 lifetime as of midnight Oct. 31, 2017. No allowances.
Blizzard (To be raced Jan. 18, 25 and Feb. 2):
Three and 4-year-old pacing fillies and mares in 2018, non-winners of two races or C$30,000 lifetime as of midnight Oct. 31, 2017. No allowances.
Snowshoe (To be raced Jan. 19, 26 and Feb. 2):
Three and 4-year-old pacing colts, horses and geldings in 2018, non-winners of two races or C$30,000 lifetime as of midnight Oct. 31, 2017. No allowances.

If sending nominations by mail, envelopes must be clearly postmarked no later than Dec. 1, 2017 or payment will not be accepted. Registered mail is recommended.
