Sunbury, OH — The Ohio Standardbreds & Friends group is excited to announce that the 2015 World Standardbred Horse Show has been set for Oct. 16-18 in Sunbury, Ohio, at the beautiful equine facility Eden Park.

The 2014 World Standardbred Horse Show was held Oct. 10-12 at Eden Park. The competition was tough this year with horses coming from Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kansas, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan and Canada. There were well over 760 class entries. The showbill offered a vast variety of classes showcasing the versatility of the breed from In-hand classes to Driving, Jumping, Contesting, Saddleseat, Dressage, Musical Freestyle, Costume, Trail, Western, Racking, Roadster, Sidesaddle and more.

New in 2014 was Musical Freestyle on Friday night followed by Contesting and Trail. Also new this year was the Stable Ride N Drive with a helmet painting from Michls Kustoms to the winner. Jumping and the English Divisions were held on Saturday and Dressage, Driving and the Western Divisions were held on Sunday. There were open classes as well as over 140 Standardbred only classes.

The show, hosted by Ohio Standardbreds & Friends, was deemed a huge success. Great sponsors helped provide fantastic awards for the class winners.
