Ft. Washington, MD — In the $4,200 Winner’s Over pace for fillies and mares, You Diehl will attempt to repeat her winning performance of last week as the 5-2 morning line choice at Rosecroft Raceway on Friday night, May 2.

The 5-year-old daughter of Western Ideal will leave the gate from post two with Eddie Dennis at her lines. Last time out, You Diehl paced first-over under the guidance of driver John Wagner to win by a head in 1:54.2 with a last quarter of :28.4. Ron MacArthur trains and co-owns the mare with Richard Smith.

Dig Alittle Deeper, marked at 3-1 odds, could prove to be tough competition, as the 4-year-old Nuclear High mare was second to You Diehl in a close mile last week. Trainer Roger Hans has named Frank Milby as driver, and the pair will face the starter in post four. Tom Cooke owns the mare, which has been consistently hitting the board in nearly all of her starts this season.

From the rail, Nicoles Scooter is the early third choice at 4-1 odds. The 4-year-old Real Artist mare was third last week in 1:54.2 to You Diehl. Owned and trained by Gerald Kelly, Nicoles Scooter will have driver Kelly Staten at her lines for the mile.

Lady Down The Hall (Joe Offutt, 8-1), Tell Hillary (Donnie Russell, 6-1), Wynfield Girl (Jerry Nock, 8-1), Real Gambler (Wayne Long, 8-1) and Derrylin (Ken Weckstein, 10-1) round out the field.

Friday night’s 11-race card begins at 6:30 p.m.
