DRF to stream Jugette and Little Brown Jug

from the Daily Racing Form

New York, NY — In a continuing effort to provide the best harness racing coverage, Daily Racing Form is proud to announce that it will live stream the full cards from the Delaware County Fair on both Jugette and Little Brown Jug day.

The free live video is part of DRF Harness Live, which provides real-time insights and coverage of harness racing each week.

DRF Harness handicapper Garnet Barnsdale will provide on-site reporting to compliment the live video appearing at http://live.drf.com/events/harness.

“We are once again excited to provide free live video for the Jugette and Little Brown Jug cards,” said DRF Harness Editor Derick Giwner. “These are tradition-rich races that everyone should be able to enjoy and we thank the Delaware County Fair for providing us with the rights to distribute the signal to the masses.”

The 46th Jugette and 71st Little Brown Jug showcase the best 3-year-old pacers of both sexes in a multiple heat test of endurance on Wednesday (Sept. 21) and Thursday (Sept. 22), respectively.

Top sophomore pacers Betting Line and Racing Hill drew into separate eliminations for the Jug but seem likely to hook up in the second heat. One year ago, fans were treated to a classic showdown in the second heat when Wiggle It Jiggleit out-battled Lost For Words in a race for the ages.

The free video for the Jugette and Little Brown Jug is part of a continuing partnership between DRF and the United States Trotting Association to promote and market harness racing. The joint venture has resulted in spotlighting hundreds of major stakes dates covering more than 20 racetracks.

Harness Live is just one of many features on the DRF Harness online platform. In addition to entries, results, live odds, expanded past performance options and the DRF Bets wagering platform, the new DRF Harness Weekend Newsletter was launched in 2016. Typically delivered right to your e-mail account each Friday morning, Harness Weekend Newsletter provides readers with fresh content and insights on the major topics in Harness Racing.
