I wish I had played a bigger ticket last night because the Pick-4 paid $533.20 for a 50-cent ticket and it wasn’t that hard to hit. I had six top winners last night. In the Pick-4, my ticket was only $3 and I had the $13.40 and $10.00 winners of the eighth and ninth as my top picks, and I had the winner of the 10th. In the 11th, I singled the favorite and my third choice won. Winter Meet record, 18 Pick-4s, zero winners, minus $337.50

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 235/12/49/258 = $18

Analysis:

Race 8: (3) Somebaddude and (5) Billy Badger N are the obvious ones to beat but I’m also throwing in (2) Sams Triple Crown, who was too far back in last.

Race 9: (2) Clouseau Hanover went a big trip in last but (1) Shamballa also raced gamely and both of these have some class.

Race 10: (4) Starznheaven went a big trip winning from post seven at Saratoga in last. (9) New Talent could be much the best here off a key drop in class.

Race 11: (2) Dull Roar is sharp and can finish. (5) JK Will Power is a classy sort. (8) Gillys Boy comes off a layoff for the top barn.
